BIOS ROM Test

This test checks the data path of the BIOS ROM.

When the test completes successfully, you see this message:

System ROM module test passed.

Parity Test

This test checks for parity errors in memory.

During the test, DIAG displays these messages:

Testing from absolute memory location

xxxxxxxxh.

Checking for parity error.

When the parity test completes without an error, you see this

message:

Parity test passed OK.

Pattern Test

This test performs a read/write test of memory and identifies any

memory faults.

During the test, you see these messages:

Testing from absolute base xxxxxxxxh

Performing Pattern test in memory.

When the test completes successfully, you see this message:

Pattern test in memory passed OK.
