Printing with NetBEUI
Installing the NetBEUI protocol
After installing TCP/IP, you need to install NetBEUI. If NetBEUI is
already installed, skip the steps below.
Follow the steps below to install the Client for Microsoft Networks
and the NetBEUI Protocol.
1. Double-click Network in the Control Panel, and check if Client
for Microsoft Networks is in the list of installed network
components on the configuration tab.
2. If Client for Microsoft Networks is not in the list, click the Add
button. Select Client and click Add. If it’s in the list, go to step 4.
3. Select Microsoft from the Manufacturers list and Client for
Microsoft Networks from the Network Clients list and click OK.
4. Check in the network settings to see if NetBEUI is in the list of
installed network components on the configuration tab.
5. If NetBEUI is not in the list, click the Add button. Select Protocol
and click Add. If NetBEUI is in the list, go to the next section.
